Introducing The PA Club
Anderson Hoare meets The PA Club
Anderson Hoare is working closely with the established and highly recommended PA Club which is the ever-growing network for Senior PAs and EAs in the UK. We are delighted to have a strong relationship with The PA Club. We invite you all to have a look at who they are and the fabulous work they do (if you haven’t already heard of them!).
To introduce The PA Club further we have an insightful blog below which we hope will encourage you to reach out to them and join the community!
Nothing Beats a Personal Recommendation
So your Boss is off to New York. It’s his first trip there and your first time organising it. Your challenges are: how’s he going to get there? Where is he going to stay? And where should he take that important client for dinner? What do you do – google?
No way. We all know nothing beats a personal recommendation and the best way for a busy PA/EA to ensure that the Boss is comfortable and able to conduct his business without hassle is to go to another PA for advice. For over 10 years, The PA Club, the first network for senior PAs and EAs in the UK, has been offering exactly that sort of support. It’s free to join and they run regular networking events in venues across London. It’s a fantastic way to meet others in senior positions like yourself, with similar roles and responsibilities, and to tap into their knowledge. You can meet up for a gossip or a grumble (often over a glass of bubbly) and exchange useful information. The events introduce you to new venues and other relevant suppliers and if you’re really stuck you can always “Ask Abbie” by calling on The PA Club’s dedicated concierge service.
Classic membership is free and entitles you to invitations to Club networking events, held approximately once a month, a regular e-newsletter, access to Ask Abbie and to special offers, discounts and competitions. To register as a member go to www.thepaclub.com and click the Join Us button.
You can also apply for Prestige membership which offers a range of additional benefits, including smaller events, such as private dinners, fam trips, race days and forums. Prestige membership costs £250 (+VAT) per year. But we think your Boss should pay for it…….
The PA Club has been invaluable to me over the years for sourcing venues for events, meeting spaces and private dining, finding suppliers and, particularly at the Prestige level, meeting and networking with like-minded peers from across so many different sectors. The forums were always interesting and informative. – Irene (Bupa)
